CARE INSTRUCTIONS

General care instructions

FYSIK products are not only functional to use but also beautiful to look at. To keep it that way, it’s important to care for your products properly.

Keep all products away from direct exposure to sunlight (even through glass windows).

Avoid mishandling, unnecessary impact and dropping of weights at all times.

Kindly follow the cleaning and maintenance recommendations for each specific material. For more care instructions and information, visit our website www.fysik.com

With top-quality, natural products, perfection is not flawless. Due to this, subtle markings on the products is to be expected. These natural markings give each FYSIK product unique beauty and character and they do not affect durability.

Leather care instructions

Dust frequently with a clean, dry cloth. If leather is soiled, it can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth using a lather of any mild soap with lukewarm water.

If wet, let the leather air dry; never use a hair dryer or other heat source to dry leather

Do not spot clean leather; clean the entire surface. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry with a clean, soft cloth.

In case of spots and spills; wipe excess liquid immediately with a clean cloth or sponge; let the leather air dry.

Do not use saddle soap, cleaning solvents, oils, furniture polishes, varnishes, abrasive cleaners, detergents, or ammonia on leather; they will ruin the finish, causing it to become sticky and cracked. If needed, contact a professional cleaner.

To condition leather, use a small amount of natural (clear) mink oil every 3 to 6 months. Simply use a cloth and gently apply a small amount of oil. Avoid rubbing the leather as this can cause excessive spot wear.

Wood care instructions

Cleaning of wood is carried out with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth from cotton or another material.

Alternatively, the cleaning is carried out with a clean, damp cloth with water, then drying it with a clean lint-free cloth.

Wood may expand and shrink with differences in temperature and humidity. Keep all wooden products at least one meter away from a direct source of heat (heaters, radiators, fireplaces etc.).

Direct exposure of wooden products to sunlight may lead to loss of the original colour and to get deformations.

Remove spilled liquids from wooden surfaces as soon as possible.
